Welcome to The Wandering Sonance (the “Website”), a personal travel journal, information and creative-content platform. We respect your privacy and process information only as reasonably necessary for the features actually enabled, with an emphasis on transparency and proportionate use.
1. Scope and contact
This policy covers the Website and features operated directly by us. It does not govern third-party booking sites, social networks or other services you visit through external links. Privacy enquiries may be sent to sunny0730@gmail.com.
2. Information we may process
- Information you provide: such as your name, email address, message and any information you choose to include when contacting us or using a future account feature.
- Browser-stored preferences: favourites, travel lists, packing lists, shopping calculations, My Atlas entries and similar data may currently be stored in your browser’s localStorage. Unless account synchronisation is enabled in the future, this data is not automatically sent to us.
- Technical and usage data: hosting or security services may generate IP addresses, device and browser details, access times, referring pages, error logs and security records. If analytics are introduced, this policy will be updated accordingly.
- Third-party sign-in data: if Google or another sign-in provider is enabled, we may receive the identifier, name, email address or profile image you authorise. We do not receive your provider password.

Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide favourites and personalisation, maintain security, troubleshoot, improve content and usability, comply with legal obligations, and perform website measurement where permitted or consented to. We do not use personal information for incompatible purposes without an appropriate basis.

You can clear or block them in your browser, although some features may no longer be saved. Third-party services may use their own cookies or tracking parameters under their own policies.

Depending on the enabled features, the Website may use hosting and security providers such as Cloudflare, Google／YouTube, weather and currency-data services, social platforms, and travel services such as Booking.com, Agoda, Klook or KKday. Those providers process information under their own privacy notices. Reservations, payments and third-party accounts are handled by the relevant provider.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process limited information where necessary for hosting, security, sign-in, storage or other requested functionality, and data may be transferred internationally to locations in which those providers operate. Information is kept only as long as reasonably required for its purpose, dispute handling, security or legal obligations. Browser-stored data remains under your control until you clear it.
