By using The Wandering Sonance (the “Website”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the relevant features.

1. Nature of the Website

The Website provides personal travel journals, cultural observations, itinerary inspiration, travel tools and general information. Content reflects personal experience, research and editorial judgment and is not legal, medical, immigration, financial, safety or other professional advice.

2. Travel information changes

Opening hours, prices, transport schedules, visa and entry rules, weather, exchange rates, availability and other travel information can change without notice. Before travelling or paying, verify current information with the relevant authority, operator, venue or platform.

3. Third-party platforms and transactions

The Website may link to accommodation, ticketing, transport, connectivity or other third-party services. Reservations, payments, cancellations, refunds, accounts and service disputes are governed by the third party’s terms. The Website is not the seller or contracting party and, except where law requires otherwise, is not responsible for third-party pricing, availability, quality or performance.

4. Recommendation and affiliate links

Some links may in the future be recommendation or affiliate links. If you complete a qualifying transaction, the Website may receive a commission, normally without increasing the price you pay. 5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, original text, illustrations, layout, branding, audio and other Website content are protected by copyright and related laws. You may browse and share original page links for personal, non-commercial purposes, but may not copy at scale, adapt, republish, sell, scrape or impersonate the content without written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Website unlawfully or fraudulently, infringe rights, interfere with security, distribute malicious code, attempt unauthorised admin access or create excessive automated requests. Access may be restricted or terminated where reasonably necessary.

7. Personal tools and stored data

Favourites, lists, My Atlas and similar tools may initially be stored in your browser. You are responsible for retaining copies of important information. Until cloud synchronisation is formally enabled, clearing browser data, changing devices or browser failure may cause data loss.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

We aim to keep the Website useful and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete accuracy or suitability for every user. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on content, third-party services, travel changes, data loss or downtime. Liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains unaffected.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated as features or laws change. Subject to mandatory consumer and data-protection rules, they are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Please contact us first so that any concern can be addressed in good faith.
